Join us for a Rain Barrel Workshop on Saturday, May 16th from anytime from 9 AM – 4 PM at Harris Gardens

This workshop is in partnership with Clean Galveston and will take place at their annual Backyard Garden Tour. Attendees can come to the booth any time between 9 am and 4 pm to ask questions and/or pick up a barrel.
This workshop will consist of a supply pickup, hands-on presentation, opportunities to explore the property, and Q&A session with Galveston Bay Foundation staff on site. The presentation will discuss water conservation tools like Water My Yard, the environmental benefits of reducing freshwater usage and collecting rainwater, as well as proper rain barrel preparation, installation instructions and tips.
