About the event
Load up your wagons and carts with over 50 different species of iconic flowering plants and hand-selected grasses at our fall Native Plant Sale at The Gessner Center! Cash and Credit are accepted!
Come purchase hand-selected grasses and iconic flowering plants, grown at the Galveston Bay Foundation’s EcoCenter! Or choose to volunteer alongside our Conservation Stewardship Manager, Ricci Simmons, and Carter Clay, our Nursery Operations Specialist. All funds raised directly support the propagation of native plants that restore native habitats across the Galveston Bay area.
Volunteers are needed to help set-up, assist during the event and break down!
GBF Rain Barrels will be for sale Purchase your own Rain Barrel and our team will help you learn how to set it up, answer any questions you have, and teach you why our native plants love rainwater!
Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Volunteers 16+ welcome for independent volunteering with parents’ permission.
Cash and Credit are accepted!
