Get Wet! Workshop for Teachers

Galveston Bay Education for Teachers (GET wet!) is a FREE two day professional development workshop that aims to introduce instructors to the Get Hip to Habitat program, regionally focused science curriculum, and environmental exploration for grade levels 6-12. GET wet includes:

  • Background information on Galveston Bay
  • Classroom curriculum focusing on Galveston Bay
  • Issues facing Galveston Bay
  • Outdoor learning experiences in Galveston Bay
  • Participants will receive continuing education credit hours when they participate in both days.
  • Participants will receive a stipend when they participate in both days
