Dockwalkers is an intern and volunteer-based, outreach program with the purpose of improving Galveston Bay’s water quality through boater education and data collection. The Dockwalker Program provides the opportunity for boaters to educate each other on environmentally sound practices through constructive “pier” pressure, and provides helpful tools to reduce boater waste and pollution in Galveston Bay and Clear Lake.

  • Providing data to guide GBF’s Pump Don’t Dump Campaign
  • Working to improve the water quality in Galveston Bay
